Coach Rod Houge is from Crosby-Ironton where he played baseball and was an all conference player and MVP in his junior year.  He also was an honorable mention player in his senior year. Houge holds two pitching records at Crosby-Ironton with the most wins in a season (9) and most innings pitched (70 2/3).

Coach Houge played baseball at Central Lakes Community College where he won a state championship in his freshman year along with a .300 batting average.  

Coach Houge played a combined 10 years of amateur baseball while in Crosby-Ironton and Aitkin, MN.  

Houge has a combined 20 years of coaching experience. He has coached VFW and Legion Baseball in Crosby-Ironton for three years, youth baseball and youth girls fastpitch each for 7 years in Sartell, MN.  For the past 3 seasons, Coach Houge has coached 13U, 14U, 15U, 16U, 17U, and 18U baseball teams. In addition, he has coached 14U and 16U girls fastpitch softball at Acceleration for the last 3 seasons.

Coach Houge is married to Joann for 20 years with 2 sons (Mike and Justin) and 1 daughter (Emilie).  He has lived in Sartell for 14 years.
