Basic Balance Program

The importance of properly training our balance abilities is crucial to having success on and off of the playing field. Balance training should stress an individual’s limit of stability (or balance threshold). To be able to control our center of gravity, the threshold must be stressed in
multiple planes of motion in an unstable yet controlled environment.

We will learn how to perform these functional movement patterns to improve dynamic balance and neuromuscular efficiency.

Stabilization, Strength, and Power movements will all be performed throughout the entirety of the program and in that order.

There are many benefits to balance stabilization, strength, and power training and we highly encourage you to take on this 8-week challenge! This will improve overall ability to perform movements and get you ready for our off-season winter programs and improve your game.

This is an 8-week program with 1-hour classes twice a week and open gym twice a week.
